My take on the hoody: Show your I heart the Northwest pride with this hoodie by evo. Evo loves the NW because the NW is where people make the most out of their summers and winters, and are always friendly, by putting on their evo NW Love Pullover Hoodie. By wearing this hoodie you are representing the core soul of the NW (“the n-dub”).

Fit: The hoodie fits as you would expect any hoodie to fit= warm, snugly, and awesome. Material is a bit thinner than some thick hoodies I have had, which I like it thinner, rather than thicker. Remember, you can never have enough hoodies!

Colors: Gray (see below), and Black (as shown above).

Features:

  • Split stitch double needle sewing on all seams
  • Twills neck tape (keeps ya neck soft and fuzzy)
  • Heavy gauge drawcord with metal eyelets
  • 1×1 Ribbing at cuffs and waistband
  • evo logo on back also

Tech Talk:

  • Material
  • 8.5 ounce
  • 80% Cotton / 20% Polyester blend fleece
  • 100% Cotton 20 singles face yarn (amazing yarn)
  • Generous fit for comfort (loose fitting)

About Dragon Alliance: Vet eyeglass maker Dragon has one of the largest lines out there! With a strong influence in the So Cal surf scene, these glasses mesh well with the beach lifestyle.

In 1993, in a garage in Capo Beach, CA, founder Will Howard aimed to build a company that encompassed his passions for surfing, snowboarding, and riding dirt bikes. Enthusiasm and knowledge of the market bore Dragon’s first and still primary product, sunglasses. The company began distributing to local surf shops before expanding to Hawaii and Florida, and later Australia and other international markets.

Advise on these glasses: Make sure to try these on prior to buying.  They are bigger than most oversized sunglasses out there.  And may mostly be best fit for men due to face size.

Fashion or function: Fashion for sure.  However, I have worn these on the boat as my “evening shades”, and they work great to keep the wind out of my eye’s, but I would not ski or bike in these….consider these your “night on the town” shades.

Flylow Gear lifestyle shoot for 2013/2014’s line

The skinny:  Yesterday, Steven’s Pass received 15″ new snow, setting the stage for excellent conditions for a photo shoot! Seattle photographer Ian Coble was given the assignment by Flylow Gear to capture next years line through lifestyle images. We had a great crew for the day including Steven’s Pass’s own Powder cover boy/tele-slayer Jeff Campbell and his wife Kristen, Steven’s Pass local ripper Liz Stone, and ski model/photographer wife Karlee Coble. We had an incredible day getting the shots Ian needed, and getting some turns in the new snow!
Favorite jacket: Of course has to be the Rudolph jacket hands down!

0800 hrs. go time! Steven’s Pass mountain manager Joel escorted us with some well received “early up’s” allowing us to get some work done before the mountain opened. Reaching the summit it was fairly windy, but little pockets of blue sky were beginning to break through. We managed to get some amazing photos, and sneak in quite a few runs! Ian was direct in all the shots he wanted and was methodical taking advantage of every photo op possible! The ladies enjoyed all the Flylow Gear 2013/2014 line as did us fella’s, and we all agreed we can’t wait to get our hand’s on it once it hits production! We wrapped up the day with some fireside photo’s and all agreed it was a rad day! The Flylow Gear was a hit amongst all, including the trucker hat with Liz, and the puffy coats with all!
